This song is about some memories of a childhood babysitter who I had a crush on. Her brother would tease her with words I did not understand. We lived in a small town south of Chicago. One summer a lightning bolt struck a giant oil storage tank in a nearby town and it lit up the night sky. Our house did literally shake when it happened. - Steve

That fire burned for four nights straight. I didn't sleep once. And to this day, the smell of oil burning, my stomach turning, reminds me of you. Your cold hands pressed against my warm neck, as i slept quietly. And in my dreams a million ran on fire through the streets. i burn.
